Things To Do

Vólcan Pacaya

Visit site

Moderate hike for beginners where you'll be in close proximity to flowing lava. You'll find locals using it as a heat source for their pizza making. :)

Vólcan Acatenango

Visit site

Bucket list hike - not for the faint of heart, but definitely worth it for the insane views of Vólcan de Fuego.

Visit Finca La Azotea

Visit site

Just a 5-minute ride outside of Antigua is a working coffee farm with great dining, boutique shopping and an awesome beer garden.
Pro tip: find the chocolatier for the best Guatemalan chocolate truffles.

Take a Picture at The Santa Catalina Arch

Do it for the gram.

Walk around the old convents

Also known as "ruins"
Convento Santa Clara
Convento de las Capuchinas

Take a Trip to Lake Atitlan

A two-hour windy trek from Antigua, this is the one of the most magical destinations in Guatemala/the world.

Your presence is the greatest gift of all.
